This document describes how we process personal data in connection with the website and services of Trade Vision România. The document supplements the Terms and conditions and the Cookie policy.

We process data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Romanian law. The legal bases may include: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, legitimate interest (for example security, improving the services, aggregate measurement where applicable), a legal obligation and, where necessary, your consent (for example the newsletter, certain marketing modules).

Data you provide directly, for example:

• through the contact form: name (if you provide it), email address, phone (if you provide it), the content of the message;
• through the newsletter / subscription to communications: email address and, where applicable, preferences;
• through the user account (if available, including through third-party authentication providers): account identifiers, email address, display name, depending on the configuration.

Technical and usage data (including through cookies and analytics / marketing tools, where applicable): IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, browsing events, traffic source, anonymous or pseudonymous identifiers linked to campaigns.

Data stored locally on the device (for example localStorage for progress in the free courses): we use it only if you chose Essential only or Accept all in the cookie banner, not if you chose Nothing. This data stays in the browser; it is not sent automatically to our servers, except when you also use forms or an account (data sent separately).

• replying to requests sent through forms or email;
• sending the newsletter and marketing communications (with consent);
• administering the account and the Site’s features (if authentication exists);
• measuring traffic, improving the content and the user experience;
• preventing abuse and IT security;
• fulfilling legal obligations (for example tax records, if applicable).

We may share data with providers who perform services that are strictly necessary (for example hosting, transactional email, authentication, analytics and advertising — such as Google and Meta, to the extent these tools are enabled on the Site), only within contractual and legal limits.

We do not sell your personal data. Transfers outside the EEA may take place on the basis of appropriate safeguards (for example standard contractual clauses), where providers are located in such jurisdictions.

We keep data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to comply with legal archiving periods. Contact messages and newsletter data are kept according to internal policies and until consent is withdrawn or the account is deleted, as applicable.

Under the GDPR you have the right to be informed, to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, to object (including to marketing), portability (where applicable), and the right to withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

You may exercise your rights by email at tradevisionro@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), Bucharest — www.dataprotection.ro.

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data. No transmission over the internet is completely secure; please also protect your credentials and devices.

We may update this policy. In the case of material changes, we may notify you through the Site or through other appropriate channels.
